Cybercamps
 

When: 6/25-8/03.

Where: Returning for a fifth year to Bryn Mawr College, Cybercamps summer computer camp is excited to offer the coolest technologies to today’s youth. Located outside of Philadelphia, Bryn Mawr college showcases “collegiate gothic” architecture on a picturesque campus. The kids and teens of the Philadelphia community return year after year for the coolest summer computer camp experience at Cybercamps!

Description: The focus of the program is oral proficiency, comprehension skills, and cultural awareness. All activities are conducted in Spanish by a Spanish-speaking staff, who consist of experienced teachers and their assistants from local colleges and elementary, middle and high schools, all under the direction of Drs. Advanced Writers' Workshop

Description: The Advanced Writer's Workshop provides participants with intensive workshops and individual conferencing in Fiction, Poetry, and Creative Nonfiction with widely published Susquehanna creative writing faculty. Nationally recognized visiting writers will conduct guest workshops and give readings throughout the week. This is designed for experienced student writers. A portfolio of six to eight pages of fiction or poetry is required for admission.

Description: The LIFE workshop provides a "hands-on" introduction to business. A key feature of the workshop will be involvement in an interactive computer business simulation. As part of a small team, students create and run a company in a competitive environment. The week will also include presentations from various academic and professional speakers and field trips to view real world applications of concepts discussed during the workshop. 

MTM Engineering Camp for Girls

Summer Fine Arts Institute

Description: This is an intensive four-week program for high school women who excel in the arts and plan to attend an art college. College credit can be earned (3.0 credits upon successful completion of the program). Fine Arts curriculum with field trips. Choice of staying in dormitory or commuting. The Pre-College Summer Institute

Description: Intensive college level programs for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, ages 16-19 who plan on further study in the arts. Description: The purpose of these workshops is to provide academic enrichment and the opportunity for gifted, talented, and creative students to interact and pursue their interests. Camps are at two locations. More than 70 programs for kids and workshops for teens are offered at Newtown in the topics of The Arts; TV, Film and Video; Language & Culture; Science & Nature; Sports Clinics & Activities; and varied other interests. Art, Computers, & Computer Art are offered in Perkasie. Extended hours available.

Hill Top Summer Camp and Hill Top Adventures Travel Adventures

Hill Top Summer Camp is a traditional day camp for boys and girls ages 8-16 with diagnoses that may include a wide array of Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Non-verbal Learning Disorder, high functioning Asperger's Syndrome, Sensory Integration issues and difficulty with social skills.

Full Season: June 22-July 31 2009 (no camp Friday July 3rd)

Hill Top Adventures Travel Adventures is an experiential travel program for campers entering grades 7th through 11th who are looking for an exciting and active summer experience away from home. Three great trips will run in 2009.
