​A Special Series on Inclusive & Equitable Education: 
​
Universal Learning Design with Shelley Moore


WHEN: February 9, 16, 23 and March 2, 2022

The Committee for Special Education of Lower Merion is excited to invite families and educators to a special virtual education series on how to make our schools more inclusive and equitable for all, led by recognized teacher, researcher, and storyteller Shelley Moore. 

Beginning on Wednesday, February 9th, each of the four weekly sessions will explore Universal Design for Learning, a widely recognized approach to teaching and learning that makes true, authentic inclusion possible for students of all abilities and identities. This program is FREE and eligible for Act 48 credits.

Each session will run 6:00-8:00pm EST on these dates:
  • February 9th: The Evolution of Inclusion
  • ​February 16th: Support One, Support ALL
  • February 23rd: The Guiding Conditions of Inclusion and Universal Design for Learning
  • ​March 2nd: Centering Self Determination and Students Agency in UDL Planning

Can’t make every session live? No worries. Sessions will be recorded and available for a limited time following the live presentation. You must register for live and recorded access.
